I’m going off to cooler climes for a short Fall escape in a few weeks time and am currently on the lookout for nice slouchy boots. I’ve tried a couple of boots in the stores here but have not found the one. These two caught my attention:

Above, Soda Zulu knee-high boots in Tobacco. These look really comfy and they are totally flat.
Soda Women’s slouch micro suede boot in brown A similar looking pair of boots.

Steve Madden Women’s Bonanza Tall Shafted Flat Boot is similar to the one above but these come with 1/4″ heels and folded at the top, which is quite a nice look. I also prefer this darker brown color.
Can’t stop staring at this weirdly beautiful killer heels from Alexander McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 evolution-themed collection titled “Plato’s Atlantis” on Paris Fashion Week. Such an interesting shape.

Must be a back-breaking job for the models strutting on the catwalk in a pair of lobster claw shoes. If you ignore the heels, the shoes actually look like a pair of ballet slippers en pointe, but they can also look a bit like hooves. Very intriguing don’t you think?

“Studio job has designed and produced more than 50 compositions of ornamental reliefs which have been casted in concrete tableaux and integrated into the facades of a new five building complex, in Amsterdam.”

Love the pretty designs on an otherwise cold and masculine material.
